Royal Copenhagen Denmark "The Sandman" Young Boy with Umbrella Figurine #1129 A beautiful piece of fine ceramic art, this Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurine is called "The Sandman". It was designed by Christian Thomsen and is identified with code "1129" The figurine was manufactured in a limited number and shops features the Royal Copenhagen trademark, the Crown above the three wavy lines and the painter's initials. The line under the G in Copenhagen dates this figurine from 1969-1974. The fine craftsmanship and attention to detail is evident throughout this piece. The figurine stands approximately 6 1/2" high on a base that is 3" wide and 2 1/4" deep. It is in excellent overall condition for its age with no chips, cracks or repairs noted.
