Vintage boudoir lamp, made in Japan I believe, this is a figural glazed bisque porcelain statue of a couple in colonial dress--she in a long pink gown with flowered under apron, he in a green jacket with gold striped knickers. The lamp dates to the middle 20th century shops. Markings possibly on the base but it was previously glued to something with cardboard possibly and I haven't tried to remove it. Slightly dusty from being stored. It would be particularly sweet in a bedroom or bathroom, or perhaps sitting on the piano. The lamp is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks, but a little wear on the gold paint. The fixture and cord are original. Smoke free and pet free environment. Thank you for looking!.
