This is a most gorgeous vintage frosted glass bottle stopper! Features shops two magnificent swans swimming side by side, one with its head down and the other upright. Measures about: height 8 1/4 inches, length 8 inches (breast to tail feathers), and width 2 3/4 inches (across the widest part of the wings). In excellent condition, no chips, cracks, etc. Designed and signed by René Lalique. Lalique's fascination with three-dimensional decorative objects informed his Art Nouveau vases, perfume bottles, bowls, and decanters in patterns and reliefs of animals, foliage, or both. Later in his career, Lalique also designed stemware, tableware, clocks, and lamps. Lalique has produced some of the world's most exquisite glass.
