Product code: A shops Treasury of the Maine Woods by Edmund Ware Smith 1958 Vintage Great Condition
Nobody ever wrote any more accurately, colorfully nor poignantly about the Maine Woods than Edmund Ware Smith. You can fairly smell the scent of the fir boughs and feel the knapsack straps dig into your shoulders. This is the first of Smith's Books to be illustrated by Maine artist Maurice, "Jake", Day. I bought this book new. Never loaned it out. Didn't scribble notes in it. The corner of page 53 was bent over, and is is shown in the last picture. It is the 1958 paperback edition. I'm not a book grader, so please consult photos to assess condition. Looks pretty solid to me. Free shops Shipping by USPS Media Mail.
