A vintage Royal Chelsea bone china cup and saucer with the "Golden Rose" pattern. The "Golden Rose" pattern has pink and peach-colored roses against the white bone china surface with edges in heavy gold trim. The footed cup has a rose pattern on the interior, a scalloped shops edge, and a loop handle. The cup is 2.75" (6.99 cm) tall is 3.5" (8.89 cm) in diameter. The saucer measures 5.5" (13.97 cm) in diameter. The backstamp reads Golden Rose, Royal Chelsea, English Bone China, Made in England. Royal Chelsea is a mark that was used by the New Chelsea Porcelain Company. This set is a great addition to any collection and a wonderful gift to the tea lover in your life. The cup and saucer are in very good condition. There is a small chip along the underside of the cup foot. The set is free of cracks and crazing. *This is a vintage item.
