TRU VUE "56 SCENES THE GRAND CANYON OF ARIZONA FRED HARVEY VIEWER Tru Vue silver colored box "Fifty Six Scenes Of The Grand Canyon Of Arizona" with four stereo reels and a 1933 viewer with a face plate with embossed "Made For Fred Harvey" with Fred Harvey in cursive writing like his signature. I do not know whether to call such a viewer unique, but this is the only one I have ever seen. The box has only a slight amount of wear. An early Tru View reel list is included. Everything made in Rock Island, Illinois in the 1930's. The reels are as follows;Grand Canyon 1Grand Canyon 2Grand Canyon 3Grand Canyon 4All reels appear to be in perfect condition and are early versions without Tru Vue list numbers 1933 shops The First Viewer The first viewer was an all brown plastic viewer with a glossy painted metal face plate and bright screws. Its distinctive Art Deco styling and octagonal lens holders were different than any other stereo viewer previously made.
