I purchased these years ago in hopes to craft with them ( junk journals, ect) Excellent for throw pillows. However, I don't sew. :( They are all new. Smoke Free Home - They smell like Linen to me. I don't know of the history of the item before my possession. They are georgous samples and would be excellent for a crafter. Tons of different patterns. Other sites have them listed from 7.99 to 13.99 a piece. This is a steal.
