Antique German Fairing Pigs "Good Old Annual" Bath Bud Vase Figurine shops -Mama pig working the pump while junior stands int the bath under the spout. -Beautifully painted details not often seen on these figurines. -Stamped "Good old annual" on front, "Made in Germany" on back as well as mold #2228. -Souvenir commonly seen at fairs in the 1900's, hence the name German fairing pigs. -German tradition is that pink pigs are given at New Year's for good luck. -Measure 5" tall, and 4.75" at the widest point. -In excellent condition for its age, no paint loss, chips or cracks.
