This elegant Schertz men's umbrella is in great condition but needs minor work. The nylon is in great shape but needs a good cleaning. There is one pin-sized hole that can be repaired. The metal runner holder needs a new spring. Until then, it can be manually pulled out to hold the umbrella in place. The gold stretchers and runner look very elegant in front of the black nylon canopy (see images) The ribs are also polished gold color and the rib tips are wood just like the shaft. The total length is 35" from handle to tip and the end tip is 3" from the top of canopy to tip. The canopy is pretty large at 40" diameter when opened. The end tip is also gold steel (or aluminum) and wood. The eagle head handle is made some special plastic. The eagles eyes are made from a clear resin material. The tie wrap is nylon just like the canopy, however, the velcro that keeps shops it closed needs replacing. Aside of being used as an umbrella, this item has history and is a beaut.
