Up for sale is this very beautiful woodblock print, "The Large Buddha of Todaji Temple in Nara," which depicts the huge Buddha statue in the Todaji Temple in Nara, one of the most important temples in all of Japan. It's a really cool midcentury look (see the dress of the tourists viewing the great Buddha) of a traditional landmark shops. This print was produced by Eiichi Kotozuka. This print was part of a six-print series called, "Scenes of Shiga, Nara and Kyoto," which dates to the 1950s. It comes in the original folio backing. It would make an excellent addition once framed to any art collection. Print is unframed. The print is in excellent condition. Folio is in very good condition, with just a slight bubble on the left side. Print measures approximately 10.75 inches wide x 8.375 inches high. Folio backing measures 13.75 inches wide x 10 inches high.
