Worth over 100$ more!! This is an extremely rare and stunning vintage Art Deco Weidlich Bros. silver plated elephant compact beauty box or jar. This piece is in very nice condition, with no dents, but it does have some tarnish and shops wear to the silver plate in areas; and is being sold at a reduced price due to the plating wear. It has an Art Deco silver plated domed lid with an elephant handle. The silver plated base has compartments for pressed rouge and powder; also wells for a lipstick and eyebrow pencil. The base is hallmarked "Pat Applied for 695 W.B. Mfg.". This powder box is approximately 4 inches in diameter at the widest point, and over 3 1/2 inches in height from the base to the top of the elephant trunk.
